A letter from a pal

I got a letter from my pen pal Rebekah today. I met her at my dads high school reunion. I was thrilled when my dad handed it to me. I really liked reading it. I wrote a letter for her today. I am going to send it with daddy tomorrow, he will drop it off after he gets the mail. Talk to ya' tomorrow.

We got home around nine o' clock last night. I am so glad to see everybody. The trip was really good. We stopped at a jack in the box restaurant for lunch yesterday. It was a sight for sore eyes! The restaurant was clean, and beautiful. It was decorated with darling flower boxes full of colorful fake flowers. The service was wonderful too. We ordered two orders of plain fries, an oder of seasoned curly fries [ those were Nana's] an order of chicken strips [ Jerushas], and a chicken pita [that was mine.] We also ordered a chocolate cake. we went to sit down. After awhile our number was called. The pita was delicious, the chicken strips were scrumptious, they were crunchy on the outside, and melt-in-your-mouth moist on the inside.MM MM,M. And the fries were really good.After awhile one of the employees came over and noticed that we didn't get our cake! We didn't even notice until he said so! We probably wouldn't have noticed until we had driven away. He said that he was so sorry, and went to go get one for us. I wonder if jack in the box trains their employees? Much better than MacDonald's. I want to go there again sometime. Guess what, when i came home and saw Anwyn, she looked at me as if i were a stranger! But then i was gone a week. And babies don't really have their memories developed yet. Asher was asleep when we got home. I went to wake him up this morning. He grabbed me around the neck when he saw who i was. He really missed me. Chow!

we are leaving today we saw a roadrunner yesterday time to leave by!

Hello, we are leaving today. I am exited to see my family. Nana isnt awake yet. Last night i talked to Anwyn and Asher. [My little sister and brother.] I shall miss this place, but i will also be very glad to be home. Yesterday we saw a roadrunner panting under the neighbor's tree. I ran to get my camera from the house. But when i got outside, he had skittered away. It was too bad that i didnt get a picture of him, but it was worthwhile to see. We spent most of yesterday drawing. I drew pictures of flowers and butterflies to give to everyone. Jerusha just drew horses. Well, thats all for now, see yah!

Today we are planning on going to a wedding reception. We were invited to aunt Jennas brothers reception. I woke up early this morning. Today Jerusha and i had a shower, on account of the reception. So far the weather is dark and rainy. It is kind of a relief, next to how hot it has been. Papa is going to get a hair-cut. After he comes home from his hair-cut, we are going to the store and the gas-station. Jerusha got her appetite fully back this morning. She had three pancakes and one kiwi. Our pancakes were hot pink today. I like pink pancakes, in fact, i like pink everything! Yesterday we went to the coolest store in the whole world. Its called "world market". It has the coolest stuff, it is kind of a multi-cultural store. we saw chinese sandels and head scarves from India. There were some hats from Japan. I simply adored the scarves, and Jerusha loved the sandals.There were some jewelry boxs from China. There was also some jewelry. There were some earrings. They were all huge and chunky, though. I do not like or look good in chunky jewelry, or earrings for that matter. I like small, delicate, fine gold jewelry. My favorite earrings are my gold opal stud earrings, they are also pretty much my only earrings. that is all that i have to say for now, so as my dad somtimes says, chow!

Nana is going to the hair dressers.Iv been feeling sike lately.And realy realy home sike.Iwant my mom and dad here with me.Imiss them so so much! altho i am having fun.I wish i had broght my journal.Miss ya! Love jerusha!

Nana is going to the hairdressers today. I am sorry thatv i did not wrie yesterday. Yesyerday morning, we found Nana asleep on the couch! Jerusha has been feelng extremly homesick. Yesterday she cried all morning. Guess what! Yesterday was my parents anniversary! We were planning on calling them to wish them a happy anniversary, but we never got around to it. My mother always forgets her anniversary. Phoenix is really hot, Nana thinks the heat is getting to Jerusha. Because Jerusha hasnt been feeling well. She hasnt had much of a appetite. Poor Jerusha. Jerusha is bugging me to hurry up so she can write on here, so, this is Bryn Burningham, signing off.

My sister[bryn] and I are in arizona, we are with our grand parents. We live in utah. It took a whole day to get here. we have been here for a few days. We went to mcdonalds and went shopping.

a day in phoenix

we swam, of course. Nana and papa have a pool. I do believe that everyone over here has a private, if not a comunity pool. And nana took us to target. I got areally cute outfit. We also got a pair of goggles and some swim caps. The pool water does horrors to my hair. Nana wanted to get Jerusha somthing, but she [Jerusha] did not want anything. Sumner came too. Nana babysits him. Yesterday it was 106 degrees outside! I have never experianced weather like that before, living in Utah all my life. We went to mcdonalds for lunch today, because we were doing errands. The food was terrible! The chicken nuggets left an awful taste in the back of my throat. The frenchfrys were dry and did not have any salt.
